David Alexander is Director of Development for Vintage Realty Company and has 23 years of experience in the commercial real estate business.

David has completed numerous brokerage assignments for various national and local clients such as Aetna Insurance Company, Bank of America, Travelers Insurance Company and Home Savings of America. These sales include Regional Shopping Malls, Multi-Family communities, CBD Office Towers / Suburban Office Parks and tracts of land ranging from small restaurant pad sites to acreage for large retailers such as Wal-Mart.

David was in charge of the development in 1996 of Shreveport, Louisiana's first apartment community in nine years - Champion Lake Apartment Homes. Based upon the tremendous success of Champion Lake, David opened the following in Louisiana:

• October 2002: River Walk Apartment Homes in Shreveport


• August 2003: Audubon Lake Apartment Homes in Lafayette


• March 2005: Nelson Pointe Apartment Homes in Lake Charles


• May 2005: The Village at Fountain Lake Apartment Homes in Gonzales


• November 2005: The Village at Westlake in Shreveport

Most recently David managed the development of a 208-unit luxury community that opened in August 2006 called Magnolia Trace Apartment Homes, located in The Lake District, a master planned community of residential homes in Alexandria, Louisiana.  David is also responsible for Vintage Realty Company's efforts to acquire existing Class "A" multi-family product in the southern region. A 225-unit community, The Grove at Pleasant Valley Apartment Homes in Little Rock, Arkansas was acquired in October 2003.

David is a 1980 graduate of Louisiana State University with a BS degree in business administration. He is a member of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and a past director of the Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation. David is Vice Chairman of Shreveport's Downtown Development Authority, is Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shreveport - Bossier YMCA, and is President of the Board of Trustees of the Southfield School. He is a current and founding member of the Board of Directors of Friends of the Red River Refuge, and past member of the Board of Guests of Louisiana State University, Shreveport.

Pam Smith joined Vintage Realty Company in 2004 as an assistant
to Alvin Childs.  In 2008, she joined the development team as the office administrator.

She is originally from Shreveport, but lived in Dallas,
Texas from 1990 – 2003.  There she worked
in the home building industry for twelve years where she served as Accounting Supervisor, Closing Coordinator and Office Manager for both volume builders as
well as custom builders.
